This morning, I had an opportunity to speak with A. Lyric. I wanted to know, What have you been up to? She said, I am currently in the studio working on my LP album. I have a song I released on I-Tunes. It is called, “Your Ears Will Thank You Later”. It is nowavailable on I-tunes, Amazon, and Reverb Nation. I love singing/acting. I was singing since I was about seven or eight years old. I started taking it seriously and professionally for the past five years. I was born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y and that is where I still reside.
A-Lyric then said; I am actually the lead actress of a web-series called Boughetto. It is about five women who grew up in the ghetto. They are all working and trying to get out of the ghetto – working towards their goals and dreams. I wrote the theme song for the web-series. If you listen to the music throughout the series, you can hear songs from my EP throughout the episodes.
I then asked A-Lyric, What are your expectations in life? A-Lyric then replied.., I am a believer in following your dreams. One of my dreams is to one day, win a Grammy. I will… One day. I know the songs I write touch people and inspire people to follow their dreams. One day I will be recognized for my hard work, and I will win that Grammy. Hopefully, five years from now, I would be touring in Europe and across the world. I will release my album and share my music with everyone.
Who is one of your biggest inspirations in life? One of my biggest supporters is my mom. When I told her my dreams of wanting to sing, she gave me music lessons. My mom always pushed me to follow my dreams. I would say she is one of my biggest inspirations.
