He’s a singer and musician. Glen is currently with a band called Intense heat. Glen said… He has been with the same members of his band for seven years, The band consisted of four members. All males. Intense Heat just added a female singer to their group. The names of the members are… Curvan, Sam, Winfield, the newest member – Candy and of course Glen. Glen said, they have been very busy playing gigs all over town; including Coney Island.
While most gigs are a paying gig, they have been playing their music, for the community, for free… . He said… we want to give back to the community. We just love what we do. We love making people happy. When we play our music, it gives me great joy to see how happy people are. . Music is the soul to people hearts.
Glen concluded by saying, I am a native of Antigua, Music is in my soul. I’ve spent most of my childhood there. I eventually decided to come to the US when I was twenty years old. Since coming to the US, I got a job working for the NYPD as a mechanic. I’m still working there today. I am still going to play music for the rest of my life. My favorite singer was James Brown. James Brown inspired me to show the world what I can do. Music and singing is what I can do. I will play music and sing forever.
