Hank Pegeron…
Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, learned photography in high school. Susan Wagner High school.
Hank would say… I kicked it around for a little while as a hobby. During such times, I’ve done weddings here and there but, I didn’t truly become interested in photography until I began attending Mount Sinai United Christian Church approximately 20 years ago. I became a Deacon and part of the Men’s Ministry as well as the photographer at Mount Sinai UCC. I am also the lead sound engineer for the church. Approximately 6 other Church members work with me.
My photography company is called Markit Enterprise, which was established in 2012. Hank Pegeron is what I go by when I’m taking photographs of weddings, fashion and models, celebrations, birthdays, launching of companies, promotions, anniversaries. I had the fortune of being featured and doing photography work for well known magazines. KEEL magazine, DAISY magazine and SKII Magazine – “There’s no limits to reaching the top”. My most recent work will be featured in the November’s issue of “Fashion Avenue News” magazine.
Hank was in a contest for “Top Photographer of The Year” award in Atlantic City. The winner was to be announced during Fashion Week in Atlantic City #DOAC from October 16 – 19, 2014. Hank was doing so well in the contest, out of hundreds of photographers who were nominated, Hank was one of six people who was still standing with high scores. Out of the six people, who were now competing against each other for photographer of the year, Hank won the contest by popular demand with a total of 60,000 votes. He won by a landslide. The other five photographers didn’t know what hit them. They had no chance of winning. I am fortunate to have Hank working for me @… SKII Magazine “There’s No Limits To Reaching The Top” as one of three great photographers that I use for my magazine.
Even though Hank started his company two years ago, he’s been involved with photography for over nineteen years. People know his work. People know his name. you should want to hire him to do your next big event. Hank Pegeron had 60,000 people voting for him to be photographer of the year. That’s 60,000 people more than any of us would know in a lifetime.
When he’s not photographing beautiful people he’s busy at his car dealership fulfilling people’s dream of owning a new car.
Hank Pegeron is a true living legend who wears many hats but, as he would say….. Photography Is My Passion.
