I interviewed a designer, whose designs have been the talk of the town. Her name is Matrix. She’s a designer who makes unique and artistic clothing. She said, beautiful weather motivates me. Beautiful weather, allows me to open my mind, which gives me creativity in her designs.
She was born in the Bronx but she was raised all over the world. Her father was in the military and her parents traveled from one country to another. Matrix stated that she lived in Alaska and Texas and many other states and countries. Matrix then eventually settled in New York City. She wants to thank her parents for giving her the experience of a lifetime by travelling all over the world and experiencing so many different cultures and languages.
She became serious about designing clothes for the past ten to twelve years, off and on. She remembered as a young child while watching Madonna on television being fascinated by the clothes Madonna was wearing. . I remembered asking my sister…I wonder who makes all her clothes then my sister told me that her clothes were custom made. That’s when I decided , I wanted to custom design clothing, I wanted to create clothing like Madonna wears. I came up with a clothing line called… BCIC (BeCause I Can) Exotics. My clothes are unique and definitely different from other designers.
Matrix is working on a new fashion line. You will see it at the Pre-launching of SKII Magazine, on July 20, 2014. Matrix said, she was inspired to create this design by Alice in Wonderland. It’s lingerie with a cosmic twist. Your going to love it, she said. Matrix then stated… I want to go back to my old roots. ,… I see myself living outside of this country. Five years from now, (that’s how long I’m giving myself), I will be travelling all over the world. Travel the way I did as a child. And while I’m travelling from country to country, I will stop at every boutique, just to make sure, they are selling my designs. I want to see people, all over the world, wearing my clothing I created..
I eventually asked her, who inspire you the most? Her answer…. That is still to be seen. I really cannot answer that question right now.
Matrix is artistic. I enjoyed looking at her work. World look out. Her designs, will be coming to a world near you.
