Perry Williams

I was born and raised in Montgomery Alabama. I ventured into New York City when I was 18 years old. At the ripe young age of 18, I got a job working in a bank. I knew I wanted more. I wanted to travel. So, I went into the military for 4 years. After the military, I went into college and received my Associates degree. After college, I then began working for the Post Office in Queens. After 40 something years, . I finally retired from the Post Office. Now, I am able to do what I truly wanted to do. I wanted to work freely without worrying about going to my Post Office job in the morning. .

While working for the Post Office, I’ve decided to start my own company, producing my own cable television show. It’s called “Perry Studios”. I’ve had “Perry Studios” running strong for the past 13 years. My show covers community projects, such as; Housing Development day; Basketball events, which is played against other community Housing Developments; Mayoral campaigns, Political Office events and so much more. I am also a consultant. I show prospective clients how to produce their own cable television show. For the past 17 years, I’ve been working as a videographer. I’ve done countless weddings, community outreach events for the homeless, marathon coverage and many other events dealing with the community. I’m currently working as a videographer for a pre-launching event of SKII magazine. I’m also interviewing entrepreneurs who have written books, models, etc. I’m constantly busy! I have no desire to slow down. That’s what keeps me young.

Whats your expectation in life? I would like to write a book. A book about my life. I would like to hire a full crew to work with me on my production company. I have one person working with me now. She is wonderful, but, I need more than one person to help me at this point of my career in the studio. My company is growing, and its going places fast. . With all the jobs I encounter, I would love to have a crew and my own building, with my Television show.

Where do you see yourself five years from now? Five years from now, I would want my production company to be well established. Everything will be running like a fine oil well. I also want to finally get my wife, Alisa Williams that dream house she always wanted. . We currently own a condo in Queens NYC. We’ve been married for 8 years now. I am so happy to be the man in her life. I truly love my wife. I wouldn’t change anything in my life. .

Who inspires you the most? My grandmother inspires me the most. She pushed me to become what I am today. Her name was Viola Williams. She made sure I went to school and graduated. . I wanted to go the military and she pushed me to join. She truly pushed me in the right direction. The family reunion was inspired by her. She started getting the family together in 1990 with 80 people in attendance. Since then, it has grown to having approximately 200 to 300 family members attending the family reunion. In the end, she was the driving force behind us having family functions.
